A cozy makeover for Judi

Judi a busy realtor, Wife, mom of two boys and Lucy the t Doodle, Dreamed of a "cozy" and inviting home where friends and family could gather and feel welcome. Judi describes herself as an old soul and somewhat old fashioned, a throwback to a different era who loves color, pattern and feminine details. My only constraints were that i needed to use the existing Sofa and bookcases pictured here and that the spaces be family and doodle friendly. The original goal was added on to with the need for window treatments that were not only lovely and warm to look at, but that offered privacy, while allowing for as much light as possible.
Here we added painted wood shutters for privacy and bespoke, shaped-upholstered cornices in colorful patterns to achieve the overall "charming" goal.
