Iconic glow up
When my clients downsized it was to take care of a an ill parent. So at that time, design details were far from their minds, but now as Deb continues to proclaim it’s her “last hurrah” and here we are!
We started with the fabulous wallpaper, Schumachers Iconic, “Pyne Hollyhock”. I literally pulled it out to show Deb and it was game on. We changed out the boring knobs followed by the the Regina Andrew wall sconces and custom wood trimmed mirror that now frames what was a flat glass mirror. The bespoke Roman shade in the same blue and white “Pyne Hollyhock” colorway, along with crisp white chintz, cafe curtains were the final installations. Layers were then added with a silk, ivory-rose-floral arrangement, that now filled Debs antique vase, and a small area rug, making this pretty space extra personal.
I need to add the John, would continually notice along the way actually said, "You know i would have said that mirror frame or knobs were not necessary but i would have been wrong!"
